Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has condoled the killing of noted Indian photojournalist Danish Siddiqui during a clash between the Afghan special forces and Taliban attackers.

Siddiqui, working for Reuters news agency, was covering the clashes between the two sides in Kandahar over the last few days.

In his message, Stalin said, “I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of Danish Siddiqui, who, through his camera lens, had brought to us the devastation of pandemics, pogroms and humanitarian crises.”

His death gives a message to the world once again to shun violence and terrorism in any form, Stalin said.
