Chennai: As we enter the festive season, the National Centre for the Performing Arts said it will celebrate Mother Goddess or ‘Devi’ with a latest workshop for budding and professional Bharatanatyam dancers.
According to a statement, the workshop has been specially designed to focus on the three main components of the dance form – Nritta (technical dance), Nritya (expressional dance) and Natya (dramatic storytelling) with Devi being the central theme.
The workshop will be conducted virtually by Priyadarsini Govind starting 17 September, every Friday, until 1 October, it added.
