New Delhi: With 5,784 fresh infections, India’s Coronavirus caseload rose to 3,47,03,644 today.
According to Union Health Ministry data updated this morning, the country’s Covid-19 death toll climbed to 4,75,888 with 252 fresh fatalities.
The number of active cases of the infection has declined to 88,993. The number of patients who have recovered from the infection has gone up to 3,41,38,763.
The total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country so far has exceeded 133.88 crore.
India’s Covid-19 tally crossed the 20-lakh mark on 7 August, 2020, the 30-lakh mark on 23 August, the 40-lakh mark on 5 September and the 50-lakh mark on 16 September. It went past 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November and the one-crore mark on 19 December last year.
The country crossed the grim milestone of two crore Covid-19 cases on 4 May this year and the three-crore mark on 23 June.
