Chennai: Tamilnadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian has said the State government will have a re-think on Sunday total lockdowns if the decline in daily cases continues.
Talking to reporters, he said it was heartening to see that positive cases in Chennai has been showing a declining trend for the last few days.
‘Though there has been decline in cases, people should follow the Covid protocols to prevent the spread of the virus’, he said and added that if the cases continue to decline in Chennai further, the government would re-consider lifting the total Sunday lockdown.
