Mishri Enterprises production venture Ashtakarma is all about black magic. CS Kishan will be making his debut as the lead.
He plays a psychiatrist in the film. Nandini Rai and Shrita Shivdas play female leads. Though it is a horror story, the whole concept is based on Karma.
Directed by Vijay Tamilselvan, the cinematography is by Gurudev and LV Muthu Ganesh has composed the music.
The movie speaks about interesting episodes in the life of a young girl. Psychiatrist Kishan has no faith in demons or devils. He participates in a debate on TV about the presence of ghosts.
Kishan argues that there is no such thing as a ghost. One of the conjurers who is part of the discussion, challenges Kishan to stay in a haunted house for one day. kishan accepts the challenge and asks the owner for permission to stay in the house.What happens then forms the crux.
Kishan plays his part well. He looks handsome. He expresses his intentions well. The rest of the cast are adequate.The camera work and music are good. The story looks interesting promising scary moments.
They have been handled. But what starts well slowly fizzled out towards the end.
