Chennai: A probe has been launched into a viral video of school students consuming alcohol on a moving bus in Chengalpattu district.
The clip is said to have been recorded by one of the students on the bus. The video shows a group of girls and boys can be seen opening and gulping bottles of beer and reports suggest that the students are from a government school.
The students, in their school uniforms, were on the bus from Thirukazhukundram to Thachur. A senior official of the Education department said a detailed investigation has been launched.
Police too have confirmed the inquiry. They have promised appropriate action after the probe.
