Chennai: US Consul General in Chennai Judith Ravin visited Vaniyambadi on Thursday to participate as the chief guest at the 21st graduation ceremony of Islamiah Women’s Arts and Science College.

She distributed diplomas to 442 graduates, celebrating their achievements and commemorating Women’s History Month.

Speaking at the graduation day ceremony, Ravin said, ‘Showing compassion, standing up for people in need, and giving back to your communities and families is a wonderful form of transformational leadership. Whether it is at home, locally, nationally, or globally, I urge you to heed the advice of American author, poet, and civil rights activist Maya Angelou. ‘Become what you respect, mirror what you admire’.’
