Chennai: Kanchi Sankaracharya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, who is currently on a tour of south India, has reached Raichur.
He was received at the main junction and taken in procession to Srimatam camp at Seth Rikhabchand Parasmal Sukhani PU College. He addressed devotees before retiring for the day at 11:30 pm.
The next day, he blessed devotees on Shubhakrut New Year, a press release said and added he gave teertha prasadam after pujas and performed Pradosha Puja. He also addressed a meeting at the college.
