Payanigal Kavanikkavum, written by Ajeesh P Thomas and directed by Shakthivel Perumalsamy is releasing on Aha Tamil this weekend. Produced by T Vijaya Raghavendra under the banner All in Pictures, it is the remake of Malayalam film Vikruthi.
Payanigal Kavanikkavum features Vidharth in lead role. Karunakaran, Masoom Shankar and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli are alao in the cast. S Pandikumar handles the cinematograhpy and editing is by RS Sathishkumar.
Speaking to News Today, Shakthivel says, ‘It is a movie that speaks about the perils and advantages of mobile phones. Though a remake of Malayalam movie, we made enough changes to suit Tamil audience.
The movie tries to convey a message that though we are in latest modern world, the use of mobile phones can be reduced’.
Vidharth is my friend for long. He is apt for lead role. He plays his part well. Karunakaran and I are known to each other since short film days. He has done well. All have contributed their best in the film, he adds.
‘How one incident knowingly or unknoqningly changes the life of an individual forms the crux. But the film is nowhere preachy and has enough commercial.elements’.
