Call it a surprise for director on Selfie, Mathimaran last evening. Veteran producer Kalaipuli S Thanu urged him to fo a movie for his production house while taking part in the success meet of Selfie.
Starring GV Prakash, Gautham Menon and Varsha Bollamma in lead role, the movie got released a few weeks ago. It speaks about scam in admission to professional colleges.
Speaking at the success meet, Mathimaran thanked his mentor Vettrimaran. He said, It’s an indie film. That’s how I approached the script, and we used unknown faces and realistic locations for the same.
He thanked his stars, technicians and producers DG Film Company. He expressed his gratitude to Kalaipuli S Thanu sir releasing the movie in a grand manner.
On his part, GV Prakash, said, ‘Acting in the movie was a great experience. The whole crew was friendly.’
Varsha Bollamma also thanked the Selfie team on the occasion. Meanwhile blessing the crew, Thanu gave advance to Mathimaran to do a film for him
