Praveen, who worked as technical director of Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, forays as filmmaker and actor with Pothanur Thabal Nilayam.

It is out on AHA Tamil OTT. The movie set in late 80s and early 90s is a mystery thriller set around a post office in Pothanur. The film revolves around Praveen (Praveen), who eants to start a softwate business.

He is keen to get a Bank loan. When he almost convinced a bank to get the loan, his father wgo works as post master in Pothanur gets into trouble as a huge amount of Rs 7 lakh post office money goes missing. What happens in their life then forms the crux.

Praveen does a commendable job. He impresses not just as actor and filmmaker but also as art director. Anjali Rao does a super show.

Venkat Sundar, Jagan Krish (J.K), Seetharaman, Deena Angamuthu, and Sambath Kumar are adequate.
