After having worked in the field of VFX for a few years, V is now debuting as a director and an actor with Vishamakaran.

A melodrama, the film is based on the concept of manipulation. While V plays the protagonist, Anicka Vikhraman and Valimai fame Chaithra Reddy play female leads.

The film revolves just around the three characters. V plays a life coach and for him, manipulation comes naturally because.

He leads a happy life with his wife.

But what happens when his ex-girlfriend comes into their lives? Though the film looks like it may tackle bigamy, the focus is on the game of manipulation.

What begins as breezy love takes a different turn as movie progresses. V is passable as life coach with sinister plans. Anicka Vikhraman and Chaithra Reddy chip in well.

Vishamakaran is a decent attempt.

But had the filmmaker made the screenplay tight and more cogent leading to the climax, it would have been a different film.
