Cobra – Review

Vikram is back with a bang in Cobra. An action- thriller by Ajay Gnanamuthu provides a plenty for Vikram fans.Vikram plays Madhiazhagan, a Math Professor who executes murders using his mathematical skills. But also he has an another face where he struggles his life due to hallucination. So what happens next forms the rest part of the story. In between there is romance, emotional struggle and many.Vikram is as usual astounding in the lead roke(s). His hard work is visible in every frame.The romantic track between him and his girlfriend (played by Srinidhi Shetty of ‘KGF’ fame) add strength to the film.As Interpol officer Aslam, former cricketer Irfan Pathan does a good act. Roshan Matthew’s role could have been written well.
ARRahman’s BGM and huge production value stand out.The first half proceeds fast and has interesting twists and turns. But had Ajay Gnanamuthu sustained the same interest in the second half, Cobra could have stood out.
