The proposal to come up with a siddha college in the State is very much on, says Health Minister Ma Subramanian. Speaking to reporters, Subramanian explained that the resolution has been passed in the legislative assembly and sent it to the governor. But the governor has not agreed to it, once approved Rs 2 crore would be allocated in the current financial year for the construction of the hospital. Meanwhile, a delegation from Mauritius led by its Health and Wellness Minister Kailesh Kumar Singh called on Subramanian. They also had a meeting with Health Secretary Gagandeep Singh.
