Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development Udhayanidhi Stalin targeted the BJP for trying to inject communal angle to Music maestro AR Rahman concert’s mismanagement. “A few people are waiting for reasons to criticise AR Rahman. Tamil Nadu Government will find out the real reason behind the untoward incident and take action against the respective person,” Udhayanidhi said. “I didn’t go to the AR Rahman concert. Like you, I also watched it on social media. Actions have been taken against Police officials. A last-minute rush is said to be the reason for that. We have to avoid such incidents in future,” the DMK minister said while responding a question related the chaos in AR Rahman concert held in Chennai on Sunday. The DMK leader commented in the backdrop that Tamil Nadu BJP treasurer SR Shekhar termed Rahman as “communal” and that he always used majority Hindus for his “advantage.” Incidentally, AR Rahman also said he would respond to the grievances of his audience who said they suffered because his September 10 concert was “mismanaged”, and indicated that the ticket cost would be refunded.
