After five days of raids by IT sleuths on various premises of former Union Minister and DMK MP Jagathratchagan, the officials served him summon.
As per the summon, he has been asked to appear before IT officials in Chennai for questioning on 14 October.
IT officials raided over 40 locations, including the Arakkonam MP’s residence in Adyar and office, and some educational institutions, in connection with suspected tax evasion. Police personnel were deployed in sizable numbers across the search locations.
