TN plans special buses for Deepavali

As Deepavali falls on November 12 this year, many individuals and families will embark on journeys to their hometowns to celebrate with their loved ones. To facilitate this mass movement of people, the government of Tamil Nadu is all set to announce a fleet of special buses. The official notification regarding these special buses is scheduled to be released on October 28, providing travelers with ample time to plan their trips. The government is planning to operate approximately 15,000 special buses during the festive season. These buses are strategically placed to cater to the diverse needs of travelers, ensuring that people from various parts of Tamil Nadu can conveniently reach their destinations. To alleviate congestion and streamline travel, special buses will operate from key locations in Chennai, including Madhavaram, Tambaram, Koyambedu, and KK Nagar.
