Tamilisai urges serious investigation into recent bomb blasts

In a recent press statement, the Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, and the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry expressed grave concern over the recent bomb blasts in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Tamilisai Soundararajan voiced her condemnation of violence wherever it occurs, asserting that such actions are highly condemnable and deplorable. She specifically criticized the Kerala state government for describing the blast incident as “normal,” despite the presence of casualties and injuries. She questioned how such a grave incident could be dismissed as routine.
Furthermore, she highlighted the Union Home Minister’s response, as he has dispatched an investigating team to Kerala. She stressed the necessity of serious investigations into any occurrence of violence or blasts and discouraged governments from treating them as mere routine incidents. According to her, indifference from the government should not be the norm.
The Governor emphasised the need for a comprehensive investigation whenever an explosive incident occurs. She noted that these incidents may have underlying violence that must be uncovered. The Union Home Minister’s decision to send a special investigation team demonstrates the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the region.
Tamilisai Soundararajan emphasized that any form of violence, including bomb blasts, should never be taken lightly.
