Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President K Annamalai has expressed a welcoming stance towards the popular actor Vijay’s potential entry into politics during the 2026 Assembly polls. In response to Vijay’s recent hint at a political debut, Annamalai stressed the importance of allowing new entrants, including actors like Vijay, to present their ideas and plans to the public, ultimately allowing the people to make their choices.The Tamil Nadu BJP President further asserted that no one should obstruct the path of aspiring politicians. In his view, a vibrant and diverse political landscape benefits the democratic process. Annamalai suggested that having several parties in the political arena is advantageous and preferable to a situation dominated by just one or two parties. His statement reflects the importance of providing voters with a wide range of choices, promoting a thriving and competitive democratic environment.
