In a recent letter addressed to the party cadre, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President, MK Stalin, made a resounding statement about a perceived “strong wave” against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime. The letter also emphasized the importance of winning all seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, highlighting a broader strategy to bring about political change in India.Stalin’s letter began by recalling a slogan he introduced during the Mupperum Vizha celebration in Virudhunagar in 2022: “Forty is ours, country is ours.” This slogan encapsulates the party’s aspiration to secure all 40 Lok Sabha seats from Tamil Nadu, along with the one from Puducherry, in the upcoming parliamentary election.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister conveyed his belief that the country would be within their grasp in the forthcoming parliamentary election. He stated that they would achieve a significant victory in collaboration with allied forces that are determined to protect democracy.
Stalin urged his party cadre, especially booth agents, to actively monitor electoral rolls and participate in poll preparation works. He stressed that their efforts were not only for the party’s victory but also for the liberation of the people of the country. This underscores the significance of grassroots efforts in building a strong political movement.
The Chief Minister advised party workers to engage in door-to-door campaigns to reveal the alleged secret relationship between the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the BJP. He also called for efforts to rescue the country from the BJP, which has faced accusations of engaging in financial irregularities amounting to Rs 7 lakh crore, as reported by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).
Stalin further mentioned the “speaking for India” podcast, which highlights critical national issues. He pointed out the growing strength of the INDIA bloc, an alliance aimed at removing the communal BJP government. In this, he emphasized the DMK’s significant role.
