The Government of Japan has announced the conferment of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, on Boddupalli Rama Bhadra, President of Asa Bhanu Japan Center, Hyderabad, in recognition of his contribution to introducing Japanese culture in India and promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and India.
Bhadra started the Asa Bhanu Japan Center in Hyderabad in 1999. Since then, for more than 25 years, he has been greatly contributing to the introduction of Japanese culture to the people of India, the promotion of cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Japan and India, and the deepening of mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
As the founder president and chairman of Asa Bhanu Technical Services Limited, he has also been making efforts to promote collaborations between companies of Japan and India, so that contributed to the enhancement of economic relations between Japan and India, a press release said.
