Leo and Jailer: These films are both estimated to have crossed the 600 crore mark at the box office. “Leo,” Vijay’s second film of the year after “Varisu,” despite mixed reviews, managed to have the highest-ever opening day in Kollywood and made around 600 crores. “Jailer,” marking a comeback for Rajinikanth, brought him back as a superstar with thrilling scenes and fantastic music by Anirudh, also hitting the Rs 600 crore mark.
2. Ponniyin Selvan: Highly anticipated and starring top actors like Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Rai, among others, this film crossed Rs 300 crore, drawing immense excitement in the industry, especially among family audiences.

Por Thozhil: Surprisingly, this film secured the 5th position despite strong competition from movies like “Mark Antony,” “Vaathi,” “Maamanan,” and “Good Night.” Its overseas performance was exceptional, with a phenomenal 50 days of sold-out shows in multiple theaters, collecting a final amount of Rs 70 crore.
