In a recent media meet, she expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects and addressed the use of the term ‘Sanghi’ as a badge of pride among party workers.Vanathi Srinivasan shed light on the opposition’s use of the term ‘Sanghi,’ emphasizing that it is often employed as a derogatory term to criticize individuals who prioritize the interests of the country. She asserted that BJP Karyakartas, or party workers, take pride in being labeled as ‘Sanghi,’ considering it a testament to their unwavering commitment to India.”The opposition, including the DMK, uses the word ‘Sanghi’ to criticize BJP Karyakartas by those who stand against our principles. ‘Sanghi’ means people who love India and do not compromise in the interests of India. By the way, we are proud to be called a ‘Sanghi,'” remarked Vanathi Srinivasan, responding to a question raised by a reporter regarding comments made by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya.Addressing recent political developments, dhe commented on the switch of Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar from the INDIA bloc to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). She criticized the INDI Alliance, stating that it was formed for selfish interests and predicted its eventual dissolution. According to her, leaders within the INDI Alliance lack concern for the welfare of the people and the development of the country, leading to the alliance’s fragmentation. In contrast, she highlighted the BJP’s continuous expansion, noting, “As far as the BJP is concerned, we are adding new parties every day.”
