As the political landscape in Tamil Nadu gains momentum ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is set to engage in a second round of seat-sharing talks with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on February 9. This follows the initial round of discussions that took place at the DMK’s headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, on Sunday.During the first round of talks, the Congress delegation, comprising national leaders Mukul Wasnik and Salman Khurshid, along with TN incharge Ajay Kumar and state leader KS Alagiri, met with the DMK seat-sharing committee. The discussions aimed at navigating the allocation of constituencies and solidifying the alliance’s strategy for the upcoming elections.Notably, the presence of national leaders from the Grand Old Party highlighted the significance both parties place on the alliance and the potential impact it could have on the electoral landscape. The first round laid the groundwork for understanding each party’s expectations and finding common ground.Moving forward, the second round of talks on February 9 will witness a change in dynamics as Congress will be represented solely by leaders from the state. @@@@
