Chennai, Feb 9: In a gesture of camaraderie and mutual respect, Tamil Nadu’s actor-turned-politician Vijay, who recently launched his political party, reached out to veteran actor Rajinikanth to express his gratitude for the latter’s well wishes and support.Vijay, also the president of the Tamil Nadu Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (TVK), had a telephonic conversation with Rajinikanth, during which he elaborated on his party’s objectives, plans, and the rationale behind its formation.
The exchange came after Rajinikanth, while interacting with reporters at the Chennai airport, extended his congratulations to Vijay for embarking on his political journey. This public acknowledgment from Rajinikanth, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema and previously a potential political contender himself, carries significant weight and symbolizes the goodwill extended towards Vijay as he navigates the intricacies of politics.
