In a significant move towards bolstering his political presence, renowned Kollywood actor and president of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Vijay, unveiled a mobile application for joining his political party on Friday. The launch of the mobile application marks a pivotal moment for TVK as it aims to expand its membership base and engage with supporters across Tamil Nadu. Vijay, a beloved figure in Tamil cinema, emphasized the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and urged individuals to join TVK by embracing the ideals encapsulated in the timeless couplet from the Thirukkural: “Pirappokkum Ella Uyirkkum” (all human beings agree as regards their birth but differ as regards their characteristics, because of the different qualities of their actions). The mobile application provides a seamless and user-friendly platform for individuals who wish to align with TVK’s vision and values. By downloading the app, users can access the party’s pledge, familiarize themselves with its principles, and conveniently obtain their membership cards through QR-code links. Addressing supporters, Vijay expressed optimism about the forthcoming 2026 Assembly polls, urging citizens to unite under the TVK banner to create history together. He emphasized the importance of active participation in shaping the future of Tamil Nadu and called upon like-minded individuals to join hands in realizing the party’s objectives.
