At an election rally in Bodi and Periakulam Assembly segments, AMMK coordinator and Theni Lok Sabha constituency candidate TTV Dhinakaran voiced his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing that only Modi can bring about development for the country.
Dhinakaran praised Modi’s clean track record as Prime Minister, asserting that no corruption charges can be leveled against him. He commended Modi for driving the country to new heights, with India’s global image reaching its peak under his leadership. Dhinakaran highlighted the positive impact of Modi’s policies, noting the recognition and respect Indians have been receiving overseas.
Attributing India’s progress to Modi’s focus on development and growth, Dhinakaran expressed confidence that every state in the country would experience significant improvement in the next five years.
Drawing parallels between his relationship with former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and his expectations from Modi, Dhinakaran assured the crowd that he anticipates similar support from Modi in implementing welfare schemes and development projects. He specifically mentioned the Dindigul-Sabarimala railway line as a project he intends to push for.
However, Dhinakaran didn’t hesitate to criticize AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, suggesting that the shine of the AIADMK has diminished under his leadership. He expressed sympathy for AIADMK members, claiming they were demoralized and disheartened. Dhinakaran accused Palaniswami of sidelining him after initially appointing him as Chief Minister, which ultimately led to the formation of the AMMK.
