Just two days ago, fans were treated to an adrenaline-pumping trailer that offered a glimpse into the high-octane action and suspense that awaits. Set against the backdrop of Vellore, bordering Andhra Pradesh, the film follows the riveting tale of goons relentlessly pursuing Priya Bhavani Shankar’s character, with Vishal’s character, Rathnam, emerging as the formidable force standing in their way.
Alongside Vishal, the star-studded cast features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakani, among others, promising a powerhouse performance that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam’s Zee Studios, “Rathnam” marks the third collaboration between Vishal and director Hari, following their successful ventures in “Thamirabharani” (2007) and “Poojai” (2014). Shot across picturesque locations such as Tuticorin, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupathi, and Chennai, the film promises a visual spectacle that complements its gripping narrative.
