In response to the ongoing construction of the 4th railway line, the Chennai Parry’s Corner RBI tunnel is set to undergo a temporary transformation into a one-way track for the next three months. Commencing from 10 p.m. today, the tunnel will exclusively accommodate one-way traffic during this period, with vehicles approaching Parry’s Corner from Kamaraj Road continuing to operate as usual.
The decision to implement this temporary alteration aims to facilitate the smooth progress of the railway line construction while ensuring minimal disruption to traffic flow in the area. By converting the tunnel into a one-way track, authorities aim to optimize the utilization of space and resources, thereby expediting the completion of the project.
Motorists and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and adhere to the designated traffic arrangements during this period. Additional signage and guidance will be provided to assist drivers navigating through the altered traffic patterns.
As the Chennai Parry’s Corner RBI tunnel undergoes this temporary one-way transformation, commuters are encouraged to remain vigilant and cooperative, contributing to a smooth and successful transition until the completion of the railway line construction.
