Annamalai launches scathing attack on Kejriwal

K Annamalai, the BJP state president, launched a blistering verbal assault on jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a campaign event in New Delhi. Speaking at the Delhi Tamil Confluence organized by Tamil Nadu Prakosth of the BJP’s Delhi unit at Talkatora Stadium, Annamalai pulled no punches in his criticism of Kejriwal and the AAP-Congress alliance.
Taking direct aim at Kejriwal, Annamalai highlighted the irony of a chief minister running the government from behind bars in Tihar jail. “But within Delhi, there is a government of a person who should serve the common people but is continuously involved in scams,” Annamalai remarked. He emphasized the incongruity of the situation, where a leader entrusted with public service is embroiled in controversy and legal entanglements.
Furthermore, Annamalai criticized the Congress for its alliance with the AAP, insinuating a betrayal of principles. “There was talk of never joining hands with such a person but, today, they are talking about forming a government with him,” Annamalai stated, highlighting the apparent hypocrisy in political alliances driven by expediency rather than ideology.
