Balasubramanian of ICF are scored full point in the first round of the 2nd International Fide Rating Chess Tournament held at KCG College of Technology, Karapakkam for a prize pool of Rs.3,00,000/-This event attracted 533 participants including 264 International Rated players from various States like Andhra, Karnataka, Puduchery, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andaman, Uttharpradesh and also from all over districts in Tamil Nadu
This event is 9 round Swiss format FIDE rating chess tournament is being organized as a FIDE Rated event in Tamil Nadu and many unrated players will get an opportunity to get ratings and also rated players can increase their ratings from this event.
