TNEA-2024 application deadline extended

The Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) has extended the application deadline for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 to today, responding to the overwhelming demand from students. Originally, the last date to apply was 6th June, following the commencement of the online registration process on 6 May 2024.

The decision to extend the deadline by five days was made to accommodate the high number of students interested in securing engineering seats at Anna University and its affiliated colleges. The extension aims to provide additional time for those who were unable to complete their applications by the original deadline.

Students who have not yet applied are advised to register their applications on the official website, www.tneaonline.org. The circular from DOTE emphasizes the importance of uploading the necessary registration fee certificates during the application process.

11th June: Extended deadline for online application registration.
12th June: Release of random numbers for candidates.
13th June – 30th June: Verification of certificates.

From 11th July to 20th July, the DOTE will handle queries and complaints from candidates, ensuring that any issues related to the application and verification process are resolved efficiently.
