Vishnuvardhan returns to Tamil cinema with Nesippaya


Renowned filmmaker Vishnuvardhan is set to make a comeback to Tamil cinema with his upcoming film ‘Nesippaya’. The movie marks the debut of Akash Murali, son of the late actor Murali, and stars Aditi Shankar in pivotal roles.
Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, known for backing blockbuster films like Vijay’s ‘Master’, ‘Nesippaya’ boasts a stellar ensemble cast. Veteran actors Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Kushboo Sundar, Kalki Koechlin, and Shiv Panditt are among those featured in significant roles. The film promises a compelling narrative with a diverse and talented cast.
The technical crew of ‘Nesippaya’ includes acclaimed cinematographers Om Prakash and Cameron Bryson, editor Sreekar Prasad, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja handling the music, production designer Saravanan Vasanth, and lyricist Pa Vijay contributing to the film’s creative aspects.
Details about the plot and release date of ‘Nesippaya’ are yet to be disclosed by the makers. Vishnuvardhan, known for his versatile filmmaking style, last directed ‘Shershaah’ (2021), a Hindi film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. In Tamil cinema, his last project was ‘Yatchan’ in 2015, starring Arya and Krishna.
