Renowned cinematographer Padma Shri Santosh Sivan has added another prestigious accolade to his illustrious career by receiving the “AVM’s Master of Cinematography Award.” The award ceremony took place at the AVM’s Master Awards, where Ravi Kottarakara, President of the Film Federation of India and President of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, presented him with this esteemed honor. The event was graced by the presence of AVM. K. Shanmugam, Managing Director of AVM Productions (P) Ltd.Santosh Sivan, known for his exceptional contributions to world cinema, was recognized for his outstanding achievements in cinematography. His recent recognition includes the prestigious Pierre Angenieux Excellens in Cinematography award at the Cannes Film Festival, further solidifying his stature in the global film industry.
The award ceremony was attended by distinguished personalities from the film and academic sectors, including Dr. N. Bhuma, Principal of Avichi College of Arts & Science, G. Abhinaya, Head of the Viscom Department at Avichi College of Arts & Science, C. J.
