In a shocking incident, Bahujan Samaj Party’s state president K Armstrong (51) was brutally hacked to death by a six-member gang in full public view near his home in Perambur around 7 pm on Friday. The audacious murder has prompted swift action from law enforcement, with special teams already securing eight suspects, according to sources.
The police are intensifying their efforts to apprehend all individuals involved in the gruesome act and to uncover the motive behind the murder. Armstrong had been visiting his house on Venugopal Swamy Koil Street in Perambur, which was under reconstruction. Police suspect that the gang was aware of his routine visits to oversee the progress and plotted the attack accordingly.
On the fateful evening, the six-member gang arrived on two-wheelers, confronted Armstrong, and attacked him with sharp weapons. In their haste to escape, they left their weapons at the scene, providing crucial evidence for the investigation.
