Raayan gets A certificate

Two weeks prior to its eagerly awaited release, “Raayan,” the upcoming action-packed film produced by Sun Pictures, has garnered attention for its intense narrative and powerhouse cast. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the film an A certificate, hinting at its gritty and potentially violent content, as indicated by the latest poster slogan: “Everything is thicker than blood.”
Written and directed by Dhanush himself, “Raayan” marks a significant milestone as his 50th film as an actor and his second directorial venture following the acclaimed “Pa Paandi” in 2017. The ensemble cast features stellar names including Prakash Raj, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Saravanan, and Dushara Vijayan, promising a blend of seasoned performances.
Renowned composer AR Rahman adds his magic with the film’s music, while Om Prakash handles cinematography and Prasanna GK takes charge of editing. Stunt choreography by Peter Hein and dance sequences by Prabhu Deva and Baba Baskar further enhance the film’s appeal, ensuring a visual and auditory treat for the audience.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on July 26, “Raayan” is poised to captivate viewers with its gripping storyline, dynamic performances, and technical finesse.
