Manchester City, July 19: Manchester City have finalized the £30.8m transfer of Brazilian winger Savinho on a five-year deal. The 20-year-old joins the Premier League champions after a standout season with Girona, where he played a key role in their historic qualification for the Champions League.
Savinho, who spent last season on loan at Girona from Troyesāboth clubs under the City Football Group umbrellaācontributed 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. His performances helped Girona secure an impressive third-place finish in La Liga.
Internationally, Savinho, also known as Savio, was part of Brazil’s squad that reached the Copa AmĆ©rica quarter-finals earlier this month. He scored his first international goal in a group-stage victory over Paraguay.

Savinho began his European career with AtlƩtico Mineiro before moving to Troyes in 2022. After a loan spell at PSV Eindhoven, last season marked his first regular starting role in senior football at Girona.
