Makkamishi’, the first single from Jayam Ravi-starrer ‘Brother’ directed by M. Rajesh and produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd was released by its composer Harris Jayaraj, writer-singer Paal Dabba and choreographer Sandy Master on Saturday (July 20).A few days ago, Harris Jayaraj, Paal Dabba and Sandy Master shared the meaning of the word and revealed that ‘Makkamishi’ means power, mass and swag.
Music director Harris Jayaraj has composed five great songs for ‘Brother’. After successfully distributing films like ‘Bigil’, ‘Natpe Thunai’ and ‘Thadam’, the company is leaving its imprint in production too by bankrolling movies/web series such as ‘Dharala Prabhu’, ‘Saani Kaayidham’, ‘Mathagam’ and ‘Agilan’.
Director Rajesh says ‘Brother’ will be a complete album in Tamil cinema after a long time. It is noteworthy that Think Music has bagged the music rights of ‘Brother’. While the television rights have been acquired by Zee Tamil, OTT rights are with Zee5.
Interestingly, Jayam Ravi’s 30th film ‘Brother’ is a lively and emotional family entertainer about the bond between a youngster and his sister. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead in ‘Brother’, Natty, Bhumika, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Seetha, Achyuth Kumar, ‘KGF’, ‘Pushpa’, ‘Jai Bheem’ fame Telugu actor Rao Ramesh, MS Bhaskar, Sathish Krishnan, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Vishal and Master Ashwin are playing important roles. ‘Brother’ will hit the theatres soon.
