The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-revised score cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024. Candidates can now download their revised score cards from the official NTA website using their application number, date of birth, registered email address, or mobile number. For any NEET UG 2024-related queries, the NTA has provided a helpline number: 011-40759000.Earlier, on July 20th, the NTA had released a center-wise topper list, which did not see any changes for Tamil Nadu despite alleged irregularities in the exam’s conduct, paper leak allegations, and multiple toppers from the same center. Initially, eight students from Tamil Nadu scored full marks. This tally remains unchanged in the city-wise list released last week.
In Chennai, four students achieved a perfect score of 720 marks out of 720, with two students from the same center. Additionally, three students from Namakkal and one from Villupuram also scored full marks. Syed Aarifin Yusuf M was declared the State topper in the male category, while Shailaja S topped the female category from Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu saw a total of 1,55,216 registrations for NEET UG 2024. Among these, 12,730 government school students appeared for the examination, including 9,094 girls and 3,647 boys.
The NEET UG 2024 examination was initially conducted on May 5, 2024, for over 24 lakh candidates at 4,750 centers across 571 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
