Senior BJP leader H. Raja has criticized AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s comments regarding the release of the Karunanidhi commemorative coin, calling them immature.In a statement, H. Raja questioned why the coin release event should be controversial. He emphasized that the BJP has grown by embracing diverse ideologies and that untouchability, whether in society or politics, is unacceptable.
He pointed out that DMK President M.K. Stalin has attended several BJP events in the past, questioning why only the Karunanidhi centenary coin release event is being turned into a controversy.
Addressing Palaniswami’s claim that there is a secret alliance between the BJP and the DMK, Raja stated that it is the DMK’s responsibility to clarify such allegations. He also dismissed concerns about actor Vijay’s potential entry into politics, stating that it would have no impact on the BJP.
