According to the Chennai Meteorological Department’s report, the state of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms today. This weather pattern is expected to continue until the 29th of this month due to variations in the wind speed from the west.In the Mannar Bay, the southern coastal areas, and adjacent regions of the Gulf of Mannar, strong winds ranging from 35 to 45 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 55 km/h, are anticipated until the 27 August. Similarly, the northern Andhra coastline and parts of the Bay of Bengal will also experience similar wind conditions today and tomorrow. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas due to the adverse weather conditions.
