Actor Dhanush, fresh off his directorial venture Raayan, is set to headline his 52nd film, which will be produced by Dawn Pictures in their debut project. The production house, helmed by Aakash Baskaran, made the exciting announcement via social media, stating that the project marks a significant milestone for them.
In the statement, Baskaran expressed his gratitude towards Dhanush for the opportunity to collaborate. “We sincerely thank Dhanush sir for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with him on this exciting new journey. We are committed to producing heartfelt and innovative content that resonates with audiences worldwide,” he said.
While details about the cast and story remain under wraps, speculations are already swirling around the project. Many believe this film could be Dhanush’s fourth directorial effort following Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. Rumors suggest the film might feature an ensemble cast, including Arun Vijay, Ashok Selvan, Nithya Menen, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in prominent roles. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
In addition to this project, Dhanush is working on his third directorial, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, which stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, and others. The versatile actor-director also has a slew of acting projects in the pipeline, including Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera, the Ilaiyaraaja biopic Maestro directed by Arun Matheswaran, an untitled film with Mari Selvaraj, and Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishq Mein.
