The Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department has announced that applications for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course are now open. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online through the official website www.tngasa.in until September 26.To be eligible for the B.Ed program, applicants must hold a degree with at least 50% marks. However, candidates who have not completed their S.S.L.C. (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) or +2 are not eligible to apply.
A total of 2,040 B.Ed seats are available across both government and government-aided colleges of education in Tamil Nadu. In a significant move, graduates from Open Universities, including the Tamil Nadu Open University, are also eligible to apply for the program.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline to secure their place in the B.Ed course.
