In a recent reshuffle of IAS officers, 14 senior officials in Tamil Nadu have been transferred to new positions. Some of the key appointments are as follows:
Satyabrata Sahu, who was previously serving as Tamil Nadu’s Chief Electoral Officer, has been given the additional charge of Secretary of the Animal Husbandry Department.
Pradeep Yadav, who was the Additional Secretary of the Higher Education Department, has been appointed as the Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Gopal, the Additional Chief Secretary, has been named the new Additional Chief Secretary of the Higher Education Department.
Rajesh Lakhani, previously the head of the Electricity Department, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Revenue Administration.
Sundaravalli, Commissioner of Employment and Training, has been named Commissioner of Collegiate Education.
Vishnu Chandran, Joint Secretary of the Public Department, has been appointed as Director of Employment.
Amudhavalli, Commissioner of Social Welfare, has been named Secretary of the Handlooms and Textiles Department.
Lilly, Special Secretary of the Transport Department, has been appointed Commissioner of Social Welfare.
Lalitha, Additional Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation, has been appointed as Director of Handlooms.
Pavan Kumar, Commissioner of Tiruppur Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Public Department.
Nandhakumar has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB).
Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, Principal Secretary of the Handlooms Department, has been appointed as Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO).
