A new accommodation facility for devotees has been constructed in Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi district, at a cost of ₹48.3 crore. This new development is located on the property of the Tiruchendur Subramaniya Swamy Temple, which is visited by thousands of devotees each year.
In addition to the accommodation facility, a number of other infrastructure projects have been completed, including a ₹10 crore offering hall for devotees to donate their hair, ₹6 crore worth of sanitation facilities, and a ₹4 crore water storage tank and pumping station with a capacity of 7.5 lakh liters. In total, these projects have been completed at an expenditure of ₹68.3 crore.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the newly built accommodation complex for devotees through video conferencing yesterday.
