VCK President Thol. Thirumavalavan has accused the BJP of deliberately putting the AIADMK under pressure to force it into an alliance. Speaking to the media, he criticized the BJP’s strategy while also addressing pressing national issues.Thirumavalavan expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Manipur. āThe violence in Manipur has reached a critical stage where even the deployment of the armed forces has become necessary. The Prime Ministerās continued absence from the state is baffling. Only a direct visit by Narendra Modi can help restore normalcy,ā he said.
Commenting on the strained relationship between the AIADMK and BJP, Thirumavalavan alleged that the BJP is actively sabotaging AIADMKās efforts to assert its independence. āThe BJP is working to isolate the AIADMK, leaving it with no option but to rejoin the alliance. By creating this pressure, the BJP is trying to force their hand,ā he claimed.
The VCK leader pointed out that despite BJPās repeated attempts to align with the DMK, it has not succeeded. He also highlighted that the AIADMK now faces a crucial challengeāwhether to ally with the BJP or contest the elections independently.
āThis decision will shape the AIADMKās political future, and the BJPās calculated moves are aimed at cornering them into a position of compromise,ā Thirumavalavan remarked.
