Counseling for 85 medical seats from Nov 25


Admission counseling for 85 MBBS and BDS seats at Stanley Medical College and private self-financed colleges in Tamil Nadu is set to commence on November 25.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research has announced this special counseling session, which will be held from November 25 to December 5, to fill vacancies in government and self-financed medical colleges under both government quota and management quota.

As per recent developments, an additional 50 MBBS seats have been approved by the National Medical Commission for the newly established Annai Medical College in Kanchipuram district. These seats, along with 7 existing MBBS vacancies and 28 BDS vacancies, make up the 85 seats available for this round of special counseling.

Candidates who have already been allotted seats and those who have applied previously are eligible to participate in this special counseling session.

The seven MBBS vacancies include a position left vacant due to a student’s untimely demise at Stanley Medical College. The 28 BDS vacancies pertain to dental courses.
