TN Legislative Assembly to meet on December 9


The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly is scheduled to convene on December 9 at 9:30 AM, as announced by Speaker Appavu.
In an interview, he stated that the duration of the session would be decided by the official committee. The assembly will also review issues related to violations of legislative privileges.

This session, expected to last three days, will be the final session of the year. Several important resolutions are expected to be passed. The term of rural local body representatives is set to end on January 5. During the session, the assembly will decide whether to hold elections immediately or to reconfigure local boundaries before appointing officials for the elections.
