Vinayaka Mission’s Law School hosts special lecture


Vinayaka Mission’s Law School, in collaboration with the Madras Management Association, hosted an insightful lecture titled “Discourses on Digitization of Courts: Experiences from Kerala” at the MMA Auditorium. The event, part of the ongoing Discourses on Digitization of Courts series by the Centre for Justice through Technology (CJT), focused on the transformative role of technology in judicial processes.
Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque delivered the keynote address, sharing valuable insights on the digitization initiatives in Kerala, particularly the pioneering 24*7 Open and Networked Court in Kollam. His address sparked stimulating discussions about the impact of digitization on judicial efficiency and access to justice.
Dr. Ananth Padmanabhan, Dean of Vinayaka Mission’s Law School, welcomed the audience, emphasizing the significance of technology in enhancing judicial systems. Advocate Antony R. Julian, Convener of CJT’s Steering Committee, highlighted the need for increased adoption of digital solutions in courts.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Sinjini Sen and Ms. Amrita Nambiar, Faculty Coordinators of CJT, and concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Tathagat Sharma, Assistant Professor of Law.
The lecture saw participation from a diverse audience, including law students, practicing lawyers, and legal professionals, reflecting a collective interest in the future of digitized judicial processes.
