First Look of Rio Raj’s Sweetheart Unveiled by Yuvan Shankar Raja and SilambarasanThe first look poster of Rio Raj’s upcoming film Sweetheart was revealed on Wednesday by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Silambarasan, generating excitement among fans. Written and directed by Swineeth S Sukumar, the film also features Gopika Ramesh in the lead role alongside Rio Raj.
The poster showcases a cheerful Rio giving Gopika a piggyback ride against the vibrant backdrop of a giant Ferris wheel, hinting at a lively and emotional narrative. The makers describe the film as an “entertaining tale” filled with a “rollercoaster of emotions and unforgettable moments.”
The supporting cast of Sweetheart includes Redin Kingsley, Renji Panicker, Arunachaleswaran Pa, Tulasi, Fouziee, Arulnithi Sasikumar, and Suresh Chakravarthy, adding depth to the film’s ensemble.
Produced under Yuvan Shankar Raja’s YSR Films banner, Sweetheart marks the composer’s fourth production venture following Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018), Maamanithan (2022), and Pon Ondru Kanden (2024). Besides backing the project, Yuvan Shankar Raja is also composing the film’s music.
The technical crew includes Balaji Subramanyam as the cinematographer, Tamil Arasan as the editor, and Siva Sankar as the art director. While the plot and release date remain under wraps, the film has completed its shooting phase and is now in post-production.
